Addressing the root causes of staffing shortages at Lady Minto Hospital
In the face of deep staffing shortages at Lady Minto Hospital, the Foundation is taking systemic action on a core cause of unfilled vacancies: the lack of affordable and appropriate housing for prospective hospital workers. In 2022, Lady Minto Foundation purchased a former hotel on Bittancourt Road which, once renovated, will provide 17 affordable units for hospital staff. Follow along with our progress here.
