Heartwood House is an 18-unit housing community designed to support the diverse housing needs of residents on Salt Spring Island. The complex features a range of thoughtfully renovated units with clean, functional layouts, all equipped with modern appliances and energy-efficient heat pumps. On-site coin laundry is available for resident convenience.
To make everyday living easier, Heartwood House takes care of exterior maintenance, landscaping, snow and ice removal, as well as waste and recycling services. This allows residents to focus on what matters most—work, family, and enjoying life on the island.
Eligibility is open to anyone working in provincially funded healthcare on Salt Spring Island. This includes not only doctors and nurses, but also essential support staff such as janitorial, maintenance, kitchen, and other operational roles. Regardless of position, Heartwood House welcomes all members of the healthcare team.
