New year, new look for Lady Minto Foundation
The past 18 months have been a period of big change and intense activity for Lady Minto Foundation, including new leadership at the board and executive level, and two new major capital investments in the form of a new Emergency Department and accommodations for our health care workers. As we move forward in this new chapter for the Foundation, we’re also working to improve the way we communicate with you.
For starters, we want to ensure we can communicate with you more seamlessly, and offer updates more frequently. As part of this, we are offering a new email version of our beloved Minto Messenger newsletter. To that end, if you didn’t get our newsletter this month, please feel free to sign up here! Over the coming months, we’ll be working to ensure regular updates are shared via our website and our Facebook page, so that you know the latest information sooner.
You also may have noticed we’ve updated the look and feel of our website. In the coming months, this shift will also make it easier for us to offer improved and increased options for ways we can all contribute to Lady Minto Hospital Foundation, including 50/50 draws!
Lastly, the Lady Minto brand has a new, refreshed look. We’ve kept the cross and waves of the original, while moving to colours more in line with the beauty of the west coast around us. And we’ve wrapped this in the symbol of a heart—because Lady Minto Hospital is the heart of Salt Spring: it safeguards our health, bolsters our local economy, and allows us to age-in-place in the community we know and love. We hope you enjoy the changes!
