There is no better reward than the site and sounds of over 100 golfers driving, chipping, putting and laughing their way around the course at our fundraising golf tournament. Along with a generous roster of community sponsors these golfers raised $33,000 this summer.

On our 28th consecutive year the Hewitson Memorial Trophy was won by Martin Harper, Kerry Marshall, Chad Little and Tory Kaye.

Country Grocer is making a wonderful habit of putting two teams in our tournament every year, entering our Company Sandbaggers Challenge Cup. These familiar faces took home the trophy this year: Travis Greenough, Keith Barclay, Charlie Holmes and Stephen Hardy.

We had a surprise sponsorship from Leith Wheeler for a Junior Team and these boys were a fantastic part of our day! We are thrilled that this support is going to become an annual event.

If laughter truly is the best medicine then we are in great hands with this Lady Minto “TeamAWESOME”. They won the prize for the Most Honest Team (aka worst score). Should have also won a prize for the most excited team. It’s appropriate to our theme this year “Show Us Your Heart” as some of the biggest hearts work at our hospital.
