The 30th Annual Lady Minto Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament on July 10th was a smashing success!
Over 150 golfers, over the three tee times, enjoyed the weather, fireball shooters, ice cream treats, picnic meal and socializing over a spirited round of Texas Scramble golf. Over $25,000 was raised thanks to our community.
The winners of the Hewitson Memorial Trophy are Isaac Faulkner, Thomas Weatherby, Nick Boyd and Brandon Johnson with a score of 8 under par. The Company Sandbaggers Challenge Cup was won by the KapaKai Glass team of Troy Kaye, Chad Little, Kerry Marshall and Martin Harper. Best score from an All Ladies Team was from the team of Elaine Shaw, Franki Johnstone, Linda Tremblay and Jenny Pickering. Winning the mantle of “Most Honest Team” was Gerard & Maureen Zentner and Doug Abernethy and Karen Mouat with a score of a lucky plus 13.
Winner of the 50/50 Draw was Karen Davies who won $452.
