• The gaps in physician ER coverage at the Lady Minto Hospital have been temporarily covered until the end of September (and hopefully beyond), thanks to an interim funding model.
• Salt Spring native Dr. Hannah Gummeson has returned to the island to join Salt Spring Island Health Centre.
• Salt Spring Island is embarking on an ambitious primary care network planning initiative to establish a comprehensive multidisciplinary clinic to address diverse healthcare needs.
