Salt Spring Island Lady Minto Hospital Foundation Seeking Executive Director for a challenging but rewarding position managing and maintaining all aspects of the Foundation.

The Executive Director reports to the Chairman of the Board.

The position is a part time contract arrangement which is reviewed by both parties annually.

The Executive Director is supported by an executive assistant.

Responsibilities include preparing board agendas, minuting meetings, and supporting committee meetings.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi task with calmness
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Drive, enthusiasm and diplomacy essential when working with the community
  • Empathy often needed
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with donors
  • Confidence in liaising with Board and committee members

Candidate must have excellent computer skills. Experience with the Raisers Edge database system used in non-profit organizations would be a real plus.

A creative slant to your personality would be perfect in contributing to the Lady Minto Messenger magazine.
