The President's Message - May 27, 2010

The spring marks the commencement of two important fund raising events for equipment for the hospital .

One is actually a convenient non event ,namely the Phantom Ball which was launched on Saturday May 8th with a costume walk about in Ganges and a drive around in a red open sports car followed by a gathering at the Mexican restaurant .

The prize this year is an all inclusive resort vacation for two in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, including return airfares from Vancouver and a Samsonite luggage set the latter courtesy of Uniglobe Geo Travel.

The draw for this fabulous prize will take place on July 10 th 2010 at the other real event, namely the annual Lady Minto Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament

This year the Golf Tournament will once again have a new Subura courtesy of Saunders Subaru and new tractor, courtesy of Sears as prizes for the first golfer scoring a hole in one on the 6th hole subject to the rules pertaining to these prizes, in addition to a special putting contest, sponsored by RBC dominion Securities and many fabulous prizes.
